Pink Stuff is everywhere these days. Not only a hot color on the runway, it has made it's way again into mainstream home decorating.

Always there have been those of us who adore pink so much we wallow in it. Surrounding ourselves in pink stuff. Pink walls, clothes, appliances, floors, and cars ,not to mention phones, flowers, chairs and sinks, all make us feel cared-for, cherished, powerful, graceful, and sexy .
Pink Kitchen makeovers are going on in record numbers. Vintage and Retro themed kitchens are popping up in new homes.
Go totally pink or pair with chocolate or tan. For a vintage look consider turquoise accents. Create a cherry blossom kitchen and add accents of red and spring green.
If you are worried the man in your life won't care for the onslaught of pink, consider this. Pink has surpassed blue in sales of men's fashion dress shirts in the UK. Men also prefer the browner shades of pink, so maybe deep rose or a tan based coral will be more pleasing to him. That is if you really care.
It shouldn't be difficult to find pink kitchen accessories especially since retailers and manufacturers like KitchenAid are participating with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation's pink ribbon campaign.
And don't forget the pink things your mother and grandmother used in their kitchens. Curtains, glassware, and clocks. Vintage and Retro pink appliances and accessories are fun to shop for and bargains are there for the taking if you know where to look.
Go all out with pink countertops, tile or floors. Want a pink fridge? Two words: Appliance Paint.
Keep a color book of the pinks you use in your bag to match colors at the store. If you are buying online, even if the color looks good to you in the photo, be sure to at least verify the shade with the seller.
